AppCSXCAD VTK 6.3.0 and the export to STL function

Don't know if this should be in the usage thread but I think it is more related to the installation of openEMS.

I would like to export my simulated structure to STL, but I get an error "vtkSTLWriter No data to write!"
In this thread http://openems.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=360 I found it is related to the version of VTK.
Unfortunately I can't downgrade the version of VTK from 6.3.0 to 5.10 in my Fedora 24 installation. So I have to manually install VTK version 5.10.1 and compile openEMS with that.

Turns out, this post isn't really a question but a very friendly request to look at this (VTK has released V7.0.0).

I think I fixed that issue. Have you tired the latest master branch?
Which version did you install?

Hello,

I followed the instructions on http://openems.de/index.php/Compile_from_Source --> Build and Install
Downloaded the version 0.0.34 (openEMS-v0.0.34.tar.bz2).
Did not use the Build from Github

I'll try to build from Github tomorrow, I'll let you know how it goes.
