Hi,
I've followed the instructions, and got to the "First steps". From the windows command line, inside the openEMS directory - execute "openEMS"<cr>, and I'm not given an openEMS shell (with ">>"). I'm given what looks like a summary of commands, starting with the box openEMS 64bit -- version v0.0.35 - the used external libraries a usage hing, "Usage: openEMS <FDTD_XML_FILE> [<options>...]" and then a whole stack of options - but no shell.
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks,
Simon.

Have you tried to just run a tutorial? Does not sound like major problems, just maybe not used to Octave/Matlab?

Super - I can get to the examples. Thanks very much. The main trick is to completely ignore the advice about using the DOS prompt in the "First Steps" - it sends you down completely the wrong track.
