material density

Post by huszaghmatt » Sat 19 Sep 2020, 21:44

I noticed that CSPropMaterial can take a density argument. Is this a typical density value (i.e., mass/volume)? How does it affect the simulation? What are the units for it? Is the volume based on DeltaUnit? What's the mass unit? Is it kg, something else?

From CSPropMaterial.cpp it looks like it's set to 0 by default. What does it mean for a density to have a value of 0?

Thanks!

This property does not affect the EM simulation at all.
It is only required for SAR post-processing.
The unit is of course kg/m³. E.g. ~1000 for water.
