As I am new in the usage of openEMS I wanted to test an antenna I already designed in CST Studio Suite.
This antenna is made out of 2 metal sheets placed on top of eachother with a thickness of 0.254mm. The antenna is shown in the image.
The antenna is designed to resonate at 2.45GHz with a bandwidth of 200MHz. However if I design the same antenna with the same dimensions in OpenEMS i become a resonance that is shifted to 2.3GHz and a bandwidth of 150MHz
For this test in OpenEMS I am using the script from the simple patch tutorial (https://openems.de/index.php/Tutorial:_ ... tenna.html) but with different dimensions for the patch.
Does someone know an explanation and maybe a solution?
