integration to CAELinux?

Post by lalberts » Wed 18 Sep 2013, 03:36

Hello,
I have to look for an alternativ to Comsol.. Plasma simulation at low pressure,
combination of HF and fluids (or PIC).
How does openEMS integrate to SALOME for instance?
wouldn't it be nice to have this one common platform where open source multiphysics is gathered?

thanks for your comments.
newbie simulator..

Hi,

openEMS is free (libre) software and I will support any attempt to integrate it into other packages/software tools.
As far as I am concerned, I'm totally fine with a pure Matlab/Octave interface ... ;)

Maybe one day I have a lot of spare time...

About the topic of this thread, as far as I know, CAELinux is based on Ubuntu?. That should make it very easy to install openEMS (and Octave)...

regards
Thorsten
