Post by thorsten » Thu 19 Jan 2012, 11:39

Today openEMS version v0.0.26 has been released.

Most noticable changes:
  • Octave support completed:openEMS now fully supports Octave (recommended version >3.4.3)
For all the Windows user out there: Gui Octave looks like a nice graphicel front-end for Octave: http://sites.google.com/site/guioctave/

After a successful openEMS installation or an Octave update you must execute (remember too add the matlab paths to the Octave search path)

Code: Select all

setup
inside the Octave environment to compile an oct-file with extended hdf5 support for openEMS field dumps.

Other changes:
  • update and test of all tutorials
  • many minor fixes and enhancements
  • removed misleading percentage progress in openEMS output, replaced by warnings concerning low max. number of timesteps
  • Matlab/Octave: Convert hdf5 dump to vtk
  • Fixes and Updates to Queue framework (see help on InitQueue)
