Simple stripline with lumped port

I tried some simple stripline simulation with two ports but I don't get the expected results. S11 should be much lower and S21 should be near 0 for a substrate of 0.254mm height and a stripline width of 0.53mm.

Use touchstone file in simulation

I was wondering if it is possible to use external touchstone files like resistors or capacitors from manufacturers to include that in the simulation.

Re: Using material for wideband simulation

Thanks for the quick response. I thought it would be easier to model a PCB a bit more real. Maybe the best idea is to use the IS400 material with the dielectric constant in the region of interest and do a simulation for frequencies around 1Ghz and one Simulation for 5Ghz.

Using material for wideband simulation

I want to simulate a PCB and plan to use openEMS for a wide frequency range. As the page http://openems.de/index.php/Dispersive_Material_Property states there is the possibility to use dispersive materials. The frequency range I plan to simulate is 100Mhz to 10Ghz with IS400 Material. The datasheet ...
