First finding, the cylinder number 50 (and maybe every 50th) is flat like a circle and somehow openEMS does not like this... Well I can reproduce the problem and no, the cylinder should not do this. I will have to investigate deeper, this is indeed very strange...

Additionally for very small antennas like this the actual feeding structure make a huge difference as well and just using this simple lumped port from ground to the helix may not be a good model. I had another look at your script because this doughnut just does make no sense for a helix antenna. You Helix radius is set to 2.8mm that means the diameter is only about half a cm! The new line you mentioned had a stupid bug... I'm programming too much python these days...

Yes this check is new as this line integral was problematic. At some point I have to implement a proper diagonal integration.
For now make sure your voltage probes are purely 1D.

I will have a look at the mentioned model...

A doughnut is not the pattern of a helix. The ground plane is not transparent, it seems to be the radiating element with or without the helix elongating it. Hi, I see several issues. First, why is your ground plane this asymmetric? Secondly I see a resonance at ~727MHz (imaginary part going through zero) with a very low resistance. You surely need a matching network, but I think you port is much too long, it should only be very short and your first turn...
