"uf.inc" is simply the modefunction times the fourier transform of the time signal wheras "uf.tot" is the fourier transform of the "full" field popping out of the calculation and "uf.ref" is the difference of the total and the incident field. Is it done by the total-field, scattered-field (TFSF) technique (eg. this explanation)?

I would also be happy if such a feature would exist, since I want to simulate a horn antenna including the coax feeding and am not exactly sure how to terminate the coax line.

Dear Thorsten,
thank you for your quick reply. I am using Ubuntu 16.04 with Octave 4.0. I solved my problem by reinstalling openEMS with default settings for the installation path. Now everything works without modifications.
