OverMode calculation on RF line

I would like to know if it is possible to extract the the input/output over-mode characteristics in a CPW line (or a waveguide for instance) . What i would like to have for instance is the transmission characteristic of the over-mode (second and third) in the CPW line.
Typically, in commercial simulator it is handle by doing S2(2)1(2) which mean the transmission between mode 2 at port 2 and mode 2 at port 1.....

well if you can define the field distribution of the modes of interest, openEMS can calculate the scattering parameter for them (mode matching).
If you need more infos on that let me know and/or study the matlab code for waveguide ports (e.g. line 30-46):

What openEMS does not have is a mode calculator (e.g. eigenvalue solver) to calculate the possible modes itself.
What would be a nice future feature would be to allow to create mode profiles from file calculated by another tool.. but we do not have this feature currently...
