Is OpenEMS the one for me?

Hello,

I've recently heard about OpenEMS and successfully installed and run it with some of the examples.
I can't decide, based on what I've seen so far, whether it's worth spending the time (which is limited) learning it - in the end, will it do what I need?

I want to model the interaction between two loop antennas, at HF (13.56 MHz), in the presence of nearby metalwork, typical objects in the 1-10 cm size.
I would like to feed a continuous sinewave current into one antenna then see where currents are induced and flow and calculate values. Ideally, I would like to be able to extract the effective lumped-component circuit model.

Is this possible with a realistic amount of programming? Just to be awkward, how much trouble would it be to do this with Scilab rather than Octave?

Many thanks in anticipation.
