non-uniform grid

Post by Youry » Mon 26 Mar 2012, 10:57

Hello,

I wonder if it is possible to define a non-uniform grid.
I mean for example, the cell can be 2 micrometer along x, 4 micrometer along y and 8 micrometer along z ?
If yes, how or which tutorial shows this ?

Is it possible to increase the grid resolution in only a specific area ?
If yes, how or which tutorial shows this ?

So many question today, :roll:

Hi,

sure this is possible, most Tutorial examples don't have a uniform mesh...

Have a look at the MSL_Notch_Filter example or the Patch_Antenna...

or just define it like e.g.

Code: Select all

mesh.x = [0 1 2 3 4 5 7.5 10 15 20];
regards
