Basic emitter/target animation -- possible?

Post by madscientist159 » Sun 08 Sep 2019, 22:46

Is there a way to (ab)use OpenEMS to run time domain EM simulation of moving emitters and targets? Motion is basic linear or circular, nothing fancy; the goal is simulating a speed radar measuring a moving baseball or vehicle against a static background.

Initial thought was to simulate, dump field, move object in geometry slightly, restore field, simulate, etc. Is this even possible, and is there (hopefully) a better way to do it?

Thanks!
