Validation of software

Post by Haizo » Thu 22 Oct 2020, 15:44

Hello,

with all those great results from this software and seeing many comparisons between
other tools and measurements in the forum- i wanted to ask if there has been some
controlled validation of accuracy (Code verification).

This is suggested by standards like IEC/IEEE 62704-1, when using FDTD methods for SAR calculations.

Thanks for all your work and with best regards!

I've also come across this standard, but haven't had time to read through it (it's an 86-page document). Are you able to summarize the key details that would allow openEMS to comply with these standards, and what would be the procedure we'd have to follow to carry these tests out?
